Amba Metal Halide Lamps - MH Module 250 W

The new Heraeus MH Module

The new Heraeus MH Module is a complete unit consisting of a Heraeus 250 W metal halide UV lamp, a socket with mounting clip and a glass reflector. It can be easily mounted with just two screws, saving time and complexity for the customer.

The module can be equipped with different metal halide lamps to adjust the emission spectrum to the specific curing application within the UVA range. Compared to other solutions, the perfectly matched unit of lamp and glass reflector provides a more focused and powerful spectral flux.

Technical data:

  1. Optimum UV output at 240 W (standard 250 W ballast)
  2. UVA output approx. 33 W
  3. Diameter of glass reflector: 106 mm
  4. Very high stability of UVA output over a long period of time (92% remaining UVA output after 1,000 h under test conditions)
  5. Guaranteed useful lamp life > 500 h

Applications:

  1. Handheld UV curing devices: The Heraeus MH Module allows the easy assembly of handheld devices. Lamp and reflector are already optimised for each other, minimising design work.
  2. Curing devices with scalable areas: Several MH Modules can be combined to form the two or three dimensional curing area needed. Each MH module can be controlled and dimmed separately.
